Work Experience
Hamad Al-Hashemi has over 16 years work experience at various semi-governmental companies in the UAE. His previous roles include Deputy Director of Contract and Administration ETIHAD ETISALAT – KSA (Mobily) for two years. He was a part of the administration team seconded from Etisalat to join the project.
He also worked as Administration Manager at Etisalat Corporation in the UAE for four years, where he managed and controlled the provision of support and facility services to all other departments and sections within the organization.
Prior to that he worked as a Teaching Assistant in the Business Administration Department at the College of Business and Economics, UAE University. During this period he was awarded his M. Sc. Degree from the USA.
He started his career as Branch Manager for the Sharjah Branch and Central Region Branch at EMIRATES TRANSPORT over a period of four and a half years. As Branch Manager for two branches out of the seven across the UAE, there were some 650 employees reporting directly and indirectly to him. In addition, he was ultimately responsible for around 1,000 school buses, transporting more than 50,000 students across 95 schools every day.
